CNN got the poll results they wanted in response to Obama’s Health Care speech through cheating. But try as hard as they could to skew a poll (even giving the Demos a 11% margin) the ABC/WaPo guys weren’t even able to show a 50% support for the Presidents program.

Obviously, the speech did not succeed in changing opinion on the issue. Now it is obvious that no matter how hard the MSM cheats in polls to make it seem like Americans are supporting ObamaCare, it just isn’t happening.

Conclusions: ‘Blue Dog’ Demos beware, your congressional experience could be cut short if you support ObamaCare even though the folks back home are against it. As the famous movie line goes: “Make my day” 

With all of the MSM carrying water for Prez Obama sometimes it’s hard to choose the ‘Obamagasm Winner of the Week’. This time it was easy.

Following Obama’s speech before Congress on ObamaCare, CNN did a ‘poll’ to see how it was received and surprise!—surprise! According to their poll, the Prez knocked it out of the park and changed the mind of thousands with his ‘well-crafted’ diatribe on health care.

It was all over the news the next day—even heard it on a rival radio network myself. According to the CNN poll the speech overwhelmed the American people and now 67% supported his health care program as compared with 53% before.

Only problem—the poll was seriously flawed and skewed with Democrats.

The pollsters interviewed 427 Americans before and after their speech- but only 18% were Republicans, while 45% were Democrats with the balance supposedly independents.

Nice try CNN! Another fine job by the Obama/Clinton news network.

For once he was surprised –when the whole place roared in laughter after he said:

“there remains some details to be worked out”

No truer words were ever spoken, especially by this guy.

After 200+ speeches by Obama on ObamaCare in the last several months there was really nothing new in his speech before a joint session of congress tonight except Rep. Joe Wilson’s refreshing heckle:

“You Lie”

–After Prez Obama declared that the health care proposal would not provide health insurance for illegal immigrants.

We are with Joe Wilson on this one. Although the Congressional bill states that only citizens will be eligible, there is no procedure for checking eligibility nor any penalty for misuse by illegal aliens. Two amendments that would have closed those loopholes were rejected by the Democrats.

As it stands, illegals will no doubt apply for health care and there is no way to really stop them. Everyone in Congress knows this and Obama is being totally disingenuous on this issue and likewise on many others.

A controversial $3,800 fine for the uninsured is part of a Senate Health Care bill proposal called the ‘Baucus plan’ after its sponsor–Sen. Baucus (D) of Montana. But if you should ask Prez Obama he will tell you that this is “not part of my plan”.

When Obama was running for President against Hilary Clinton he clearly opposed fines that would force individuals to buy health insurance. However, at this juncture everything is on the table and old positions may no longer be valid as the Democrats in Congress and the Obama administration try to get it done.

Prez Obama has been critical of all the ‘townhall’ ObamaCare critics for the last month or so. He is constantly claiming that what ever folks are griping about are “not part of my plan”. Here is the dirty little secret that no MSM writer or news anchor will tell you:

1. Obama does not really have a plan!—he only has some campaign promises and rhetorical statements.

2. The only ‘real’ plan on paper that can be actually read are the bills and proposals in Congress and the Senate.

3. When it comes to his beautiful ObamaCare plan —the Prez is really ‘wearing no cloths’!—just like the fictitious emperor.

Therefore, when critics site page and verse from the mammoth 1,000+ page Congressional bill and Obama says that is “not part of my plan” he is entirely correct but totally disingenuous and deceptive.

Yesterday Prez Obama appointed Ron Bloom as the new ‘Manufacturing’ Czar. His new job is to try and increase the manufacturing jobs and businesses in this country while stanching the flow of manufacturing jobs to countries with lower wages and less governmental interference.

Bloom is a career union ‘hack’ with some experience in banking and finance—but even that part of his resume was consumed with getting financial backing for unions. This is really an unbelievable appointment! Most in the know blame unions for the loss of manufacturing in America. One only has to look at the state of our auto industry to see where this is taking us.

I am not anti-union and they have their place. However, big labor has not really been looking after its own worker’s interests lately. It has merely become another political tool of the Democratic Party instead, many times selling their own members down the river.

 This is like appointing the fox to the hen house and then expecting it to result in a greater production of eggs!

One can only expect Ron Bloom to punish non-union manufacturing businesses further and result in the flight of even more plants to Mexico and beyond. After all he is all union all the time!

In his last job in the administration he helped Obama replace the bondholders in GM and Chrysler with the UAW and the government—giving them controlling interest instead. Now there’s a great business incentive for you and a taste of things to come! None of which will be good for American business.

There are nearly 15 million Americans out of work with few prospects on the horizon other than government assistance. There’s a jobless rate of nearly 10% (9.7%) after the admin. made a ‘seasonal jobs adjustment’ in addition to dropping the ‘permanently’ unemployed from the roles to look better. Not counting the millions in jobs that are paying far less than the ones they used to have.

It is time to ‘celebrate’ Obama’s first ‘labor’ day—it probably should be renamed in his honor considering the vast changes over the last year in the labor market. Look on the bright side, soon we may all be working for the government!

Besides, In Obama’s view you really don’t have an essential job unless you’re working for the government or in a union—better yet a government union!

Remember how the MSM used to criticize the economy under President Bush –and the employment rate was at near full employment at the time? Can you imagine what they would be saying now? Oh, I forgot, according to the major media this is all Bush’s fault anyway.

The Obama Administration has penalized Honduras for constitutionally removing their wantabe dictator former President Mel Zelaya. Incredibly Prez Obama stands with the Marxist dictators—Castro, Hugo Chavez, Daniel Ortega, and Evo Morales in support of Zelaya against the Honduran democracy.

Last week the USA slashed $30 million in aid to Honduras and also began pulling and restricting visas for Honduran officials and businesses. In addition, the administration incredibly expelled Honduran diplomats who weren’t supporting Zelaya.

Also last week Obama indicated that the US would not even recognize the next democratic presidential election but would continue to insist that the dictator be restored instead.

It is really hard to believe how any freedom loving democratic supporting person could take this view! Much less the President of the United States who is supposed to encourage and support democracy and freedom around the world.

As incredible as it seems to any logical thinking person, is it really Prez Obama’s plan to release the terrorist prisoners and prosecute and imprison the CIA interrogators instead? It surely does seem that way.

It has been proven that the CIA interrogation of terrorists has resulted in keeping America safe and free from follow ups to 9/11. Also the keeping of terrorist prisoners in Gitmo has saved the government from all sorts of legal actions and trials that would have been brought to bear if the prisoners had been transported to domestic Federal prisons stateside instead. That too has made us all a lot safer.

Fact is, according to a Pentagon report terrorist prisoners that have been released in the past have a 1 in 7 chance of returning to their old terrorist ways. In fact some have even become leaders. If some of these terrorist prisoners are held on American soil only to be released later, does that make us safer or more vulnerable to future attacks? Most folks instinctively know the answer to that!

If the White House really does carry out their plan to take over terrorist interrogations from the CIA operative experts, does anyone out there really believe that this is going to make us any safer?

The sad fact is this—Prez Obama holds his own personal liberal agenda in higher regard than the safety of the American people he is supposed to be serving.

Since Prez Obama’s national speech to schools was announced, school districts all across the country have been deluged with phone calls from angry parents. Some districts have decided not to show the speech, others have made it optional while some parents have threatened to keep their kids home that day.

One thing for sure, the event has turned into a full-blown controversy.
