Obama Gaffe: "Cinco de Cuatro"?

My favorite Obama picture

(Picture of Obama by hassan abdel-rahman via Flickr)

Today (May 4), as he welcomed guests to the White House to an early celebration of the Mexican holiday, President Obama told the guests:

"Welcome to Cinco de Cuatro—Cinco de Mayo at the White House. We are a day early, but we always like to get a head start here at the Obama White House."

Cinco de cuatro means "five of four" in Spanish, obviously he meant to say ‘Cuatro de Mayo’-4th of May.

This is one mistake at least Bush would not have made and everyone thought he was the ‘gaffe master’! 100 days in and Obama seems intent on challenging George W. for that distinction!

Can you imagine the media frenzy if Bush had said that?
    Obama, the gaffapatomus strikes again.
Let’s see what does this make that the media has let Obama slide on now:
    -”No earmarks”
    -”No lobbyists”
    -Scareforce One
    -Swine flu hysteria
    -numerous, numerous gaffes

And we’re only 100 days into this Presidency.
And just where is the media?
