President Obama announced his “mileage and pollution plan” for the auto industry today. According to administration officials, the new standards would only add $1,300 or so to the cost of a new vehicle. However, other research indicates that 1,000’s of additional deaths due to accidents should be expected in the much smaller and flimsier cars.

ODS Expositor: Barack has already done incredible damage to the American auto industry now he is going to make it even harder for the companies to survive. After all, someone actually has to buy those cars for the industry to survive! I just may be hanging on to my old SUV for a lot longer than anticipated.
