Wow, will they never learn? This gaffe is right up there with Bush’s ‘looking Putin in the eyes’ and Carter’s kiss on Brezhnev’s cheek.
Meanwhile, Russian Pres. Medvedev wants Obama to scrap the missile defense in Europe. Gee, I wonder what our guy will do? Knowing Prez Barack he’ll not only drop the shield but actually volunteer to pay Billions to help the Russians get rid of thousands of their all ready obsolete nuclear weapons—mark my words here!
Oh what I would give for another Reagan! Remember he walked away from Gorby at Reykjavík over a missile shield we hadn’t even developed yet. It turned out to be the beginning of the end for the Russian Communist regime.
Now we have a president who seems to be determined to help the Russians put it all back together again.

Sadly for us, it appears that Obama’s poker skills are in the same league with his bowling and girly-style baseball throw.
Russia recieved much of what it wants before Obama even landed, i.e. council with NATO, so how would anybody expect Barack to gain advantage? Meanwhile, the Kremlin has failed even to comply with the terms of the truce signed with Georgia last year- continuing to do pretty much as it pleases.
I don’t see any reason to be doing deals with the Russians- they have nothing to offer the United States, IMO.
