Michelle Malkin provides links to some uncovered ties to Bill Clinton cronies in Arkansas. ‘Friends of Bill’ get to retain their Chrysler dealerships while their competition is shut down—even though some of the competitors had larger and better located dealerships. A coincidence? We think not!

Here’s a good article from Michelle Malkin: “Dealergate and the MSM”

She summarizes where we are at on the Chrysler closing dealergate that bloggers have uncovered (–see my last article: “Chrysler Dealer Hit list Are Mostly GOP Contributors?”) and totally ignored by the main stream media.

Michelle Malkin has been one who has counseled those of us writing about the story not to make too-broad of claims that can’t be backed up by the evidence.

Malkin concludes that if the MSM does eventually take up the story they will:

“I do think that eventually, the MSM will come around to investigating. If they find anything at all that confirms the politicizing of the process, they’ll either whitewash it, downplay it, or take credit for exposing it with little or no credit to the bloggers who first started digging.”

Already today I have personally heard one radio commentator humorously dismiss this issue with the retort: “every dealer is probably owned by a Republican”. Every dealer? Unlikely—and no supporting evidence one way or another but the comments are symptomatic of the media bias we are up against.
